Mikey really wanted to get his paraglider out before we packed up our gear. Yeah, didnt work out that well, haha. After 20m he almost flew back first into a river bed....Anyway. We are out of here and finally on our way home into summer.

Not good.
Mikey and Christoph got caught in a 100m wide avalanche on their snowmobiles but luckily both cartwheeled out of it. The snowpack has become unpredictable so we will be taking down camp and getting out of here.
Snow is still incredibly good in a lot of places but sometimes you just have to avoid the backcountry no matter how good it looks.

Finally some good weather again!
Definitely felt a little weird to move again after all the sleeping and snacking. Enjoying the last pow of the season!
Had kind of a sketchy ride back in the dark and got back from the Backcountry to our RV at 11.30 pm.

ALASKA update #4 | David :
Everyone: this is Summit. She´s Mikey´s 5 month-old Huski-puppy who´s been spending the last couple of weeks up here in Alaska with us.
She´s not only cute, she also just peed on my brand new sleeping bag. No, actually to be precise she peed inside my fucking sleeping bag while we were snowboarding. But no rest for Summit. The next day she also peed on the driver´s seat of our RV which i didnt notice until the seat had slowly released the moisture into my pants after driving for about 45 minutes. I had almost forgotten how sticky pee feels on your butt, it´s been about 18 years sincet the last time.
Yeah. Good times with the little dog.

FIRST DAYS IN ALASKA this year! Christoph, Jake (our Filmer) and tried to find some new zones and got lost big time today. We had to find our way back across a pretty big and scary glacier.
Next month we´ll camp in a tent out here somewhere and get crazy hippie Style.
